Founding Artist Rate — Soft Opening

From First Idea to Final Master

Recording, songwriting, production, mixing, and mastering — from a resident creative team in the hills of North Nashville.

Big-studio capability. Creative-house comfort.

Bring us the song, the demo, or simply the idea. We'll help you build the rest.

The Studio

A creative retreat in the North Nashville hills

SkyRidge Studios is an affordable, full-service recording and music-production space in the rolling hills of North Nashville, about ten minutes north of downtown — built to give artists the quality and capability of a larger commercial studio, without the high rates, pressure, or impersonal feel that can come with one.

The studio is set inside a full home in a quiet neighborhood. Guests have access to a kitchen, bathroom, and living areas — longer sessions feel like a creative retreat, not a clock-watching hourly rental.

From Idea to Master

An artist can arrive with nothing more than an idea.

Bring a voice memo, a half-finished demo, or nothing but an idea. Our resident team works across the entire process, grouped here by what each stage actually involves:

Write

  • Songwriting, lyrics, melodies, and chord progressions

Record

  • Vocal recording and production
  • Keys, guitar, bass, and electronic drums

Produce & Edit

  • Instrumental production and arrangement
  • Editing and vocal comping

Mix & Master

  • Mixing and mastering, start to finish

Your Resident Creative Team

What makes SkyRidge different

At the center of SkyRidge is a resident creative team of three multifaceted musicians, producers, songwriters, and engineers. Instead of getting access to a room and an engineer, artists gain a team that can help develop the entire song.

An entire creative team, not just a room

Most studios hand you a room and an engineer. At SkyRidge, our resident creative team can help write, arrange, perform, record, produce, mix, and master the song — the whole process, under one roof.

Real experience, adaptable to your sound

Our team's background includes work at respected Miami recording facilities such as Bay Eight Studios and House of Hits. Because each member comes from a different musical background, we adapt our process to the artist rather than forcing every project into the same sound.

A space built for staying, not rushing

SkyRidge is set inside a full home in a quiet North Nashville neighborhood, roughly ten minutes from downtown. Guests have access to a full kitchen, bathroom, and welcoming living areas — longer writing, recording, and production sessions feel like a creative retreat, not a clock-watching hourly rental.

Gear

Standout equipment

UA Sphere DLX Modeling Microphone

Gives us access to sonic profiles inspired by classic microphones — including tonal characteristics associated with mics like the Sony C-800G and Telefunken ELA M 251 — without locking every session into one fixed sound. In practice: we shape the vocal character around the artist and the song, not the other way around.

Alesis Turbo X Electronic Drum Kit

Lets us track drum performances, program arrangements, and shape different drum sounds while keeping full control over the recording environment — useful in a home-based studio, where isolation and flexibility matter more than a wall of live mics.

Plus instruments and tools for keys, guitar, bass, vocals, songwriting demos, full arrangements, mixing, and mastering. The complete equipment list — computers, interface, monitors, keyboards, guitars, basses, headphones, software, and plug-ins — is being finalized as the studio buildout completes.

Who We Work With

SkyRidge is built around one resident team flexible enough to meet different kinds of projects where they are.

Independent artists
arrive with nothing more than an idea, a melody, a set of lyrics, or a voice memo, and leave with a produced, mixed, and mastered song.
Working bands
get full arrangement and tracking support across keys, guitar, bass, and electronic drums, with an engineer who adapts to the band's sound instead of forcing one on it.
Producers and beatmakers
get a room, a team, and gear built for building — from initial arrangement through mixing and mastering.
Labels and A&R
get a full-service creative team capable of taking a project from demo to release-ready without assembling separate writers, engineers, and mixers.
Soft Opening

The Founding Artist Rate

SkyRidge Studios is opening in a limited soft-opening phase, with a small number of Founding Artist slots available now. Founding Artists get full access to the resident creative team at a reduced rate, in exchange for helping us build our portfolio and establish long-term relationships within the Nashville music community.
